When you're smoking large pieces of meat, after 9 - 11 hours the outside always looks great, and everyone is getting anxious (and hungry). It is nice to have an instant read thermometer just to make sure the inside is as good as the outside. This one is very convenient to use and reads quickly.



Garbage - Michael J. Harper -
Worked one time very well, then became very difficult to turn on, then became wildly inaccurate, then simply fell apart because it is so cheaply made. Only lasted about 8 uses. Do not buy.
